This thing is really, really slim. I was scared it was just for looks and wouldn't protect my phone very well. However the last night I was running and my phone flew out of my sweater front pocket and fell 4 feet onto concrete floor with a loud crack, and then skidded on the screen for a good 10 feet. The case protected the phone and there's no damage at all, and the screen protector that came with it showed no scratched at all! This thing works really well.
