The product is fine. The purchase experience, however, was a bit strange. Having to wait to be called by the store to verify one's credit card before the store agreed to send the gloves was singularly surprising and not a little inconvenient. In my many years of purchasing over phones and online this has never happened before. I suggest that if Skates on Haight is so concerned about validating credit card purchases, it should add PayPal to its payment options or pay for transaction verification like the rest of the retail world does. Most unusual and not a little offputting. Kids might put up with this, but adults will just go elsewhere. Sorry, but you asked.

I received these gloves as a gift, and I'm very satisfied with them. They work very well, they slide smoothly and are very well-made. They definitely make riding more fun. I can't really say anything bad about them.

My previous set of longboard sliding gloves did not last very long at all. The Loaded Longboards Race Slide Gloves are clearly superior and can handle the streets.
