150mm longboard trucks from Paris Truck Company. The new standard in longboarding trucks. Paris Trucks are made with three things in mind turning, durability and beauty. These trucks turn as good as they look and with a lifetime guarantee you can be assured that these trucks will be on your board for years to come. Paris trucks are poured with 356.2 virgin aluminum. Unlike many other trucks out there, there is no left over aluminum from old pours thrown back into the melting pot, each Paris Truck is made with brand new pure metal then gravity molded. Which means each truck is poured and then spun in the mold, resulting in a stronger more dense molecular bond. A secondary heat treatment process then adds strength and durability to the final product. Paris Trucks are designed to look great and react lighting fast.

These trucks are replacing a pair of Gullwing Sidewinders that were on my Sector 9 Cosmic Flex. The Sidewinders had Bones medium bushings. As these are the only other longboard trucks I own, they will be my reference for comparison. Compared to the Gullwings, the Paris 150mm trucks are much more predictable. They turn slightly when you want to and you can really dig into them and make a sharp turn if you want. This is a sharp contrast to the Sidewinders, which felt really floaty and made you feel like you were walking a tight rope if you just wanted to go straight. Most of this is due to the Paris trucks having a traditional reverse-kingpin design, meaning that in comparison with the sidewinders, the height of the board is lower and since only one axis is turning, there is less chaos in the system. Also, they just feel very solid. As a bonus, they happen to look really nice. The design of the truck is very clean and the logo is very classy looking. The other big thing is that the stock bushings are actually pretty decent! Which saves you $10 in having to replace the bushings right away. They are actually a little on the hard side for me, but they aren't completely dead, like the Gullwing stock bushings. Also, pumping is a thousand times easier with the Paris Trucks vs. the Sidewinders. I can now pump up hills that I would have had to push up before. It is extremely noticeable. Basically, you just get the feeling that these trucks are incredibly well made and they are really fun to skate.
