I added some ProTec recaps right off the bat, these were bigger than the original caps and were much thicker too. Had good thick padded adhesive blocks on the back which give extra bounce when knee sliding. Found pads to be a really good fit, albeit a bit tight for a large, probably go next size up. Nice and light and loads of padding around the knee caps where you need it and not too bulky. Good all-around pad and stayed on well when bailing on rough concrete bowls and stayed put without twisting!

These babies are sweet, they are so light and stay in place even on the hot sweaty days at the skatepark or pool. I have put these bad boys through their paces at the skate park and pool and they have taken it no problem. while they are not the most stylish, but style does not protect the body. And these pads do just that and they do it very well. I am not a pro so I do my fair share of slamming and these pads have saved me a lot of painful dings. If you do any serious or even casual riding, you need protection and these knee pads provide more than enough of it.

They are comfortable. I have a slight problem with ends of short pants sticking to the Velcro on the top straps.
