Rock Star Bearings DVD - America Eats Its Young.
"A.E.I.Y." is a film that introduces some of skateboarding's fiercest young
upstarts. It's all about having fun, and this video portrays the spirit of the
Rock Star team and their surroundings. From amidst this sensory
onslaught and visual overload comes the Rock Star Bearings girl's team,
which consists of one of the strongest female rosters throughout the
entire skate industry.
Over the course of the last two- often tumultuous - years, Rock Star has managed to compile 37 minutes of highly entertaining skateboarding and
burned it onto the shiny silver surfaces of each A.E.I.Y. DVD. Watching the
video tends to have the same effect on the viewer's mind. Each of their team
rider's parts were carefully composed to manifest their individual styles
through the sounds and sights that best represent each unique individual
persona.
On January 8th, 2008, screenings took place all across the country and
overseas as well. Los Angeles, Chicago, New York, San Francisco, Holland,
San Juan, Puerto Rico, and Barcelona were among the locations where
America Eats Its Young premiered to ecstatic applause and rapturous
positive feedback.
