- Urethanes are traditionally a petroleum based product derived from a natural gas. These wheels however utilize a new technique incorporating oils from soybeans to offset the usage of petroleum. While it doesn't eliminate the need for petroleum based ingredients, it's definitely a step in the right direction.
- Not only is the end result more beneficial but the process to manufacture the bio-chemical components results in 36% less global-warming emissions than its' petro-counterpart. The manufacturing process also requires 61% less consumption of non-renewable energy than its' petroleum equivalents. This is due largely to the sun providing the energy to grow the soy beans.
