Triple 8 helmet Brainsaver Balloon Robot - Black Balloon Robot was created as part of Triple Eightâ??s groundbreaking â??Design or Dieâ?� open design challenge. We enlisted a community of creatives from around the world to design, collaborate and vote on designs. Of the more than 170 entries, Balloon Robot, designed by Llereni Medina of Chicago, IL, emerged as a favorite. So we decided to produce it and kick back a portion of the proceeds to this up and coming designer. Balloon Robot is available in Black and Light, both in our Rubberized finish with our Sweatsaverâ"¢ Liner. The renowned Brainsaver rubber helmet is one of the best multi-impact helmets available. This helmet can be used as necessary protective gear for skateboarding, in-line skating ("rollerblading"), roller derby, scooter, and most roller sports. As well, at Triple Eight they know that sweating while skateboarding sucks, so our techies here listened to their top riders, went back to the drawing board and developed the patented Sweatsaver� liner that helps eliminate the smells, the stinging and the eye blurring that occurs from sweat. Their revolutionary liner has moisture-wicking layers that limit sweat drippage, an anti-bacterial treatment to make it virtually stink proof, and a 360� wrap around design so that there is absolutely no liner separation. With the terry cloth construction, you can kiss that itchy head feeling goodbye.
