Anthony worked closely with the Vans design team to create the Avenge, his fourth signature shoe. The concept was to fuse '80s athletic design aesthetics with classic Vans skate styling to create something totally new. The upper features a nice mix of premium leathers and suede, with molded detailing in the lacing system and signature logos. The classic Vans details include a quilted and perforated Vans side stripe, midsole foxing stripe detail, and the waffle tread. The sole unit features a PU midsole with visible air cushioning to combat heel bruises when skating hard. The Vans waffle grip has been updated with high-wear borders and molded flex grooves.
